Stop Being Stupid.

This is an open request to ANYONE who is thinking about, planning, or even remotely entertaining the idea of taking things too far at one of these Town Hall / Protests... STOP BEING STUPID. If you find yourself compelled to put something on a sign that even gets close to being a threat against a politician or anyone else... STOP BEING STUPID. If you're frustrated and angry about the way the media is giving Obamacare a pass on every  flaw in the wording or concept of any provision, or if you, like me, are pissed off that Congress is poised, once more, to circumvent the Constitution and you want to do something to make them take notice... STOP BEING STUPID. Do not give them any excuses.  We do not need to resort to extremism to make our voices heard.  We are standing up for our founding principles and we will prevail even if it takes generations.  But please don't be selfish and do something moronic that will hurt our cause.  We don't need it.  We have history on our side.  We believe in the principles that took this country from colony to superpower in roughly 150 years.  It would be a travesty for this country if the only defenders of liberty were forever tarnished because of the selfish actions of someone who, quite frankly, acts like a damned leftist and resorts to vandalism and violence, or worse. DON'T DO IT. The statists want you to do something so stupid that they are almost cheerleading for it.  They NEED someone to do something because their Health Care disaster is failing.  The NEED you to do something stupid.  Don't give them what they need. Argue your points passionately.  Stand firm in your belief in American Exceptionalism and our Constitution. But DO NOT betray yourselves or your fellow Americans and take things beyond civil, if loud, discourse. We are better than them. Let's prove it.
