Unmasking The Searchlight Thugs

I'm certain by now most of you have seen the videos on biggov.com of these Harry Reid supporters throwing eggs at the Tea Party Bus in Searchlight, Nevada, threatening Andrew Breitbart, and generally being first class jerks.

The Field Director for the Nevada Democratic Party, Brian DiMarzio, gave false statements to the police regarding the egg throwing incident. He lives in Reno where he owns a home built in 2005. Why is the Field Director for the Nevada Democratic Party lying to the police?

The old fool with the threatening attitude, Jim Nardi, lives a few blocks away from me, and even shops at my grocery store. He is a "skilled" laborer who does drywall, painting, and power washing, as bit work. He owns a very modest home, seems to not have much, and wants free healthcare along with the other perks the nanny state represents.

Edward Gehring, the swarthy smart mouthed moron who tells Breitbart he's pleased about the egg throwing lives in a rather large house here in Vegas, and works as Vice President of the IBEW AFL-CIO (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Local 357. His salary as of 2006 was $111,305.

Taking a closer look at this particular union, you can quickly discover an amazing array of harassment, mismanagement of their Pension Trust Fund, coercive statements, lawsuits, complaints of inappropriate actions by their picketers, threats, and general illegal activity.

For instance, the IBEW Local 357 has been put on the Pension Endangered Status by the U.S. Department of Treasury. They have so mismanaged the Pension fund, their funding status is below 80% as of January 1, 2008. In fact, it's a dismal 71.7%. This information can be found here.

In addition, I would like to touch upon some of the more serious allegations of harassment, threats, and misconduct committed by members and leadership of this group.

Thirteen allegations of refusing to collectively bargain with an employer, affecting approximately 1100 of their members. (NRLA Section:8(b)(3).

Ten cases of violating the Duty of Fair Representation acts involving 1740 of their members..forcing or requiring any employer or self-employed person to join any labor or employer organization or to enter into any agreement which is prohibited by section 8(e) [subsection (e) of this section];

Six cases of Coercive Statements affecting 4550 union members. Coercive Statements are those:

forcing or requiring any employer or self-employed person to join any labor or employer organization or to enter into any agreement which is prohibited by section 8(e) [subsection (e) of this section];and (b) [Unfair labor practices by labor organization] It shall be an unfair labor practice for a labor organization or its agents-- (1) to restrain or coerce (A) employees in the exercise of the rights guaranteed in section 7 (which gives employees the right to go union should they choose.

There are also at least 5 allegations of threats, coercion, intimidation, harassment, and discrimination against its own members...to discharge or otherwise discriminate against an employee because he has filed charges or given testimony under this Act.

Jesse Walker, the actual egg hurling thug is also part of this illustrious group.

So within this union you have criminals, thugs, liars, and thieves. Although let's face it, the Nevada Democratic Party is a huge participant as well.

I'm incredibly proud of the Nevadans that turned out for this Tea Party. We want Harry Reid gone, but we need to endeavor to do away with these filthy unions as well. Las Vegas was better off when the mob ruled the roost.

Hmm, that guy sporting the This Is A Big F***ing Deal shirt looks so familiar. I wonder why I can't quite place him. Perhaps it's that he is hard to spot in such an enormous group. Oh shoot, that's Jim Nardi again, isn't it? What a small world.
