Tea Partiers: Handing the Reins to...Liberals?
Carrying signs that read, "Stop Taxing Us To Death", and "Cut Taxes Not Deal$", the Tea Party movement has gained tremendous momentum that is being felt all across the nation. It's felt in tumbling liberal poll numbers, to the extent that the Left is in a great deal of trouble in midterm elections.
It's also brought about a new era of candidate. The third party Tea candidate. With claims of conservatism, and the ideological stance on moral issues, these would-be politicians have big-time backers.
Such as Harry Reid. Huh?
Now why would Hypocrite Harry praise a Tea Party candidate running against him for his own seat? Because in a theoretical three way race, Harry holds on to his seat. According to Reid, "He has the right to run," he gleefully reminded everyone. Absolutely correct, Harry. But his next statement should scare people gray. "...a poll in a three way race shows me winning the election."
Let's take a look at the tea party candidate that has Harry Reid dancing around to I Will Survive.
Jon Scott Ashjian is on the ticket in Nevada. He claims to be a Tea Party candidate. He also owes more than $200,000 in back taxes. He has a lien on his property according to the County Recorder's Office, and his company, A & A Asphalt Co. even wrote a bad check to a vendor last year which he has still refused to honor. He claims ignorance about the back taxes.
Sure Jon, and I'm a flaming, tree-hugging, whale saving, Birkenstock-wearing, vegetable eating liberal.
In an enlightening interview with the local leftist rag, the Las Vegas Sun, Ashijan says, "The elitist crowd doesn't have any clue about the pain and suffering experienced by the average American. Every small-business owner is in the same boat."
Elitist? Sounds a bit like a liberal to me. Which of course, I believe he is. Let's take a quick peek at some of his brothers in politics with tax problems, all of which were nominated by Obama for important cabinet posts:
Timothy Geithner: Owed 34k in back taxes. Liberal.
Hilda Solis: Her hubby owed back taxes for 16 years, but when his wife was nominated, he immediately paid them. It must be nice to be able to claim no knowledge of your spouse's finances. Liberal.
Tom Daschle: Owed more than 100k in taxes. Liberal.
Nancy Killefer: Had a lien against her home for failing to pay for domestic help. Liberal.
Ron Kirk: Owed $10,000 in back taxes. Liberal.
The list is actually longer, but I'm sure you're getting the picture.
The most distressing issue here is that Jon Scott Ashijan can syphon off enough votes from the Republican candidates to hand Harry Reid another win.
To give credit where credit is due, the Tea Party does not endorse Ashijan, which I hope will be enough to discourage anyone from voting for this fraud just because he claims to be a conservative.
Don't let the wolf in Tea Party gear fool you. The liberals will be tapping into this market to guarantee them a win.

Concerning liberals taking over the tea party
I was one of the founders of the Hartford Tea Party and recently quit due to associations I found about a candidate the tea party was going to endorse.
I am a political conservative, a moral conservative, ignorant of economics but smart enough to know when I am being fleeced by democrats and outspent by republicans
that being said, my concern is not liberals taking ove, but the Ron Paul types and Alex jones types.
In Ct, we had a smart economist Peter Schiff running against the seat for Dodd, going for the republican nomination. One of Schiff's supporters, however, sent out an e-mail calling for people to work for and support a New Mexico LIBERTY candidate, Adam kokesh.
For those who dont know, Adam Kokesh is an IVAW anti-war protestor who marched in and with Marxist groups, led protests in DC that included a demonstreation in front of a recruiting station where the protestors shouted obscenities at parents of soldiers and Marines who were serving in Iraq at the time and even told them their children should die in Iraq
Kokesh also went to German and got on a US Armybase and read a letter calling on troops to desert before deployment and even videotaped hiimself doing it and posteed it online.
This is significant because I then went back on Google to see how this Schiff supporter found out abotu Kokesh and wanted people to support Kokesh. I searched for Kokesh + Schiff and found over 48,000 entries going back as far as 4 years
I searched for Schiff and isolationism and found videos of him saying the Iraq War was a quagmire in 2009, long after all major fighting was over.
I found video of Schiff saying he has ZERO investments in America, all overseas!
The campaign for liberty people are filled with Ron Paul types, Alex Jones types, not lliberals!
